DOBRICH - Bulgaria » The town of Dobrich is situated on the Dobrudzha Plateau in northeast Bulgaria. It is 30 km west of the Black Sea coast, 55 km from Varna, 37 km from the border with Romania, 240 km from Bucharest International Airport, close to Albena, Golden Sands and Balchik. Dobrich region is the largest grain-growing region in Bulgaria. While in Dobrich, tourists can visit the monument of Khan Asparuh, the statue of Vasil Levski, the Clock Tower in the old quarter, St George Church, the town park, the remains of a Roman settlement (3th-4th century BC), Yordan Yovkov historical museum, the ethnographic museum, the art gallery, and the old Dobrich ethnographic complex.
