We rented Vespas in Mallorca for 4 days. We drove 700km. The mopeds were in perfect condition, the reception staff were very friendly, and the administrative matters were dealt with quickly and quickly. same thing when returning. Taksim square is a district in the European part of Istanbul and a main transfer point for the city public transport system. Taksim square is 16 km northeast from Ataturk International Airport and the journey by a private taxi takes approximately 30 minutes or more depending on the traffic. From Ataturk International airport to Taksim square the transfer will take you along Ataturk Havalimani Cd southbound and onto Yesilkoy-Bakirkoy Sahil Yolu eastbound till Kennedy Cd along the coast and then continue along Ataturk bouldevard in northeast direction, Refik Saydam Cd and Tarlabasi Boulevard to Taskim square. From Sabiha Gokcen to Taksim area the transfer will take you through Ankara Cd onto highway E80 and O-1, passing the Bosphorus Bridge and on the road to Besiktas which will turn to Domabahche Palace and then head to Taksim. This transfer journey takes beween 1-1.5 hour. Housing many of the nightlife venues of Istanbul, Taksim neighbours Beyoglu and the pedestrian Istiklal Street which for centuries have been the centre of the bohemian arts scene and entertainment with lively bars and clubs. Today, the noisy and highly congested nexus for traffic and people - Taksim, is the hub of modern Istanbul with its huge open plaza, crowned with an imposing monument celebrating Ataturk and the War of Independence. The district is a major tourist, shopping, and leisure area famous for its high-class hotels, restaurants, shops, and a popular location for festivities and celebrations.
