SEMKOVO SKI RESORT » Semkovo ski resort is situated at the foot of the Rila mountain, 1750 m above the sea level. It is 170 km south of Sofia and 17 km north of Belitsa. Semkovo offers 6 ski runs with excellent opportunities for winter sports and relaxation among meadows and pine-tree forests. An interesting place to see is the dancing bear sanctuary. Semkovo is the starting point for several tourist paths leading to the Vapski Lakes, the Dry Lake and the Skalishki Lakes.
