We rented 4 bikes to tour Croatia, Montenegro and Bosnia in 2024. The people at Motoroads were very responsive and proactive. When my bike had a SW issue, they dispatched a replacement bike straight to where I was so I didn't lose any time because of the issue. Arguably one of the most pleasant neighborhoods in Istanbul, Ortakoy is located on the European side of the city on the Bosphorus strait, along a beautiful area right under the first Bosphorus bridge. There is a vibrant nightlife scene in Ortakoy, with many of the best Istanbul nightclubs, and the district is filled with excellent restaurants and teahouses, viewing the Bosphorus strait from the shoreline in all price ranges, with colourful street bazaars and cafeterias stretching along the coast. There are also a number of historic churches, synagogues and mosques within the district and many of the hotels in Ortakoy are actually historic palaces that have been converted into modern hotels. The history of Ortakoy is as old as sultans start spending their summers in the residences along Ortaköy’s shore. Ataturk airport is 33 km to the southwest. From the airport the transfer route goes along Ataturk boulevard, continuing onto O-1 and Barbaros boulevard and Çırağan street to Ortakoy. The transfer time is approximately one hour depending on the traffic. Sabiha Gokcen airport is 43 km to southeast and accessible via Çırağan street and Barbaros blvd, onto O1-O2 Çamlıca Bağlantısı, highway E80 and taking the exit onto Ankara street to Sabiha Gokcen airport.
