Me and my brother in law rented two motorbikes (BMW) in Munich for a week long alptour. When you get older (I am 69), you want a little more comfort in life. So we took the airplane from Stockholm to Munich in the morning and three hours later we got our bikes at Motoroads! The office was ease to access from the airport - train direct to Ost Bahnhof and then only ten minutes walk to shop. The bikes and all the paperwork was prepared by the staff. The staff were excellent and the bikes in perfect condition - good value for money! After renting motorbikes at Motoroads, I say: Live easy - Fly, rent and drive! Map Bucharest Otopeni Airport
As Romania′s capital, Bucharest is served by two major international airports - Bucuresti Henri Coanda International Airport and Bucuresti Baneasa International Airport. Located 17 km north of Bucharest downtown and also largely known as Otopeni Airport, Henri Coanda is the largest and busiest airport in Romania and the main hub for the Romanian operator Tarom. It is also connected to several international airports by a wide range of international airlines. More than 45 international, domestic and charter airlines offer numerous flights to cities all over Europe from Bucharest. The Henri Coanda airport lacks reliable transport connections and a hire car or a taxi into the heart of the cosmopolitan metropolis of Bucharest is the quickest option as it takes around forty minutes. Henri Coanda International Airport shares traffic with the smaller Baneasa Aurel Vlaicu International Airport situated only 8 km north of the Bucharest city centre. Baneasa International Airport functions primarily as a hub for charter flights, low-cost airlines and business travel. After the 2007 low cost invasion by low fare airlines such as Blu Air, Sky Europe, Wizz Air, Germanwings, MyAir, OnAir at Baneasa Airport, its airport traffic has more than doubled. The low cost airlines connect Bucharest with various popular European destinations in Italy, Spain, Germany, France, the UK, Belgium, Hungary, Slovakia, Turkey and Austria. Situated literally in Bucharest proper 30 minutes from the center, Baneasa Aurel Vlaicu airport is more easily accessible, either by taxi, hire car or public transport. With Motoroads you can arrange bargain car hire from Bucharest Airport whether for your family holiday, business travel or short city breaks.
