BELOVO - Bulgaria » The town of Belovo is situated at the foot of Sredna Gora, Rila and Rhodope mountains, in the western part of the upper Thracian lowlands where Yadenitsa river flows into Maritsa river. The forests and the rich water resources contribute to the development of the tourism in Belovo and the region. There are good conditions for rest and recreation in the areas of Chaira, Livada Bachia, Dolni Undol, Belmeken Lake as well as the mineral springs nearby. The biggest paper mill in Bulgaria is situated in Belovo.
