Obzor is situated on the Black Sea coast, 73 km north of Bourgas and 65 km south of Varna along a scenic bay at the easternmost foothills of the Balkan Range. Less developed and quieter than other resorts on the coast of Bulgaria, Obzor boast superb 6-km long stretch of gold sandy beach, front-line new hotels and great scenic views from the hilltops towards the sea and the nearby capes. Obzor is located at approximately one hour by taxi from Varna and Bourgas international airports. As there are no direct public transport links between the airports and Obzor, it is best to arrange your private transfer to Obzor. The transfer time from Bourgas airport is a little more than one hour and from Varna airport is a bit less than an hour via scenic coastal road passing through modest mountain villages, dense woods, and rolling vineyards.
