DAY 1 SOFIA - BOROVETS - BELMEKEN LAKE - VELINGRAD (200 km)

Easy exit from Sofia from our rental shop located near Sofia’s ring road. In 10 minutes you will find yourself on the panoramic road to Borovets resort hidden in the pine woods of Rila mountains. Continue to Rhodope mountains via the picturesque Belmeken lake. Spend the night in Velingrad - spa resort with hot water mineral spring.

DAY 2 VELINGRAD - BATAK LAKE - DOSPAT LAKE - YAGODINA CAVE - TRIGRAD (130 km)

After breakfast, you will hit the winding roads in the heart of Rhodope mountains along Batak and Dospat Lake followed by ride through beautiful Yagodina gorge. Visit to Yagodina Cave – the longest cave on the Balkan peninsula. The daily ride will finish in the famous village of Trigrad reachable via the Trigrad river gorge.

DAY 3 TRIGRAD - VUCHA LAKE - ASENOVGRAD - BOROVITSA LAKE - KARDZHALI LAKE (380 km)

After breakfast, you will visit the Devil’s Throat cave. You will then ride on the panoramic road along Vucha lake going to Assenovgrad. In afternoon you will enjoy one of our favourite bike roads along Borovitsa lake and Kurdzahali lake. You will spend the night in a hotel on Kurdzahali lake beach with outdoor swimming pool.

DAY 4 KARDZHALI LAKE - TATUL - PERPERICON THRACIAN KINGDOM - STONE MUSHROOMS - MINERALNI BANI - PLOVDIV (210 km)

The ride for the day will take you through the beautiful landscape of East Rhodope mountain visiting some the most interesting architectural and natural phenomena sites in Bulgaria – the Thracian sanctuary Tatul, Perpericon Thracian city, The Stone Mushrooms. Stay in and visit the old Town of Plovdiv and the Roman amphitheater.

DAY 5 PLOVDIV - KARLOVO - SHIPKA - GABROVO - VELIKO TARNOVO (200 km)

After breakfast you will be heading towards Balkan range mountains conquering the Shipka pass via the famous UFO Buzludzha monument. The ride will then continue to the Open Air Ethnographic Museum in Gabrovo and will end in the old capital of Bulgaria – Veliko Tarnovo. Visit to Tsarevets fortress.

DAY 6 VELIKO TARNOVO - BATOSHEVO - APRILTCI - TROYAN PASS - KOPRIVSHTITSA - STAROSEL (250 km)

On this day you will be going on top of the Balkan range mountain via Troyan pass and witnessing breathtaking views from the Beklemeto. Have a lunch in a traditional Bulgarian restaurant in the Architectural preserve of Koprivshitsa – 19th century houses preserved in their original style. Stay in Starosel SPA winery with outdoor and indoor swimming pool.

DAY 7 STAROSEL- STRELCHA - PANAGURISHE - SOFIA (130 km)

After breakfast, you will visit the famous Starosel Thracian Tomb and ride back to Sofia via the curvy roads of Panaquyrishte region. On the way, if time allows you will stop for a swim at Strelcha hot water outdoor pool.
