DAY 1 SOFIA - KYUSTENDIL - SKOPJE (250 km)

Easy exit of Sofia from our rental shop located in the outskirts of Vitosha mountain riding towards Kyustendil and Gyueshevo – the Bulgarian/Macedonia cross-border check point. Crossing the border and continue on E-871 to Skopje. Accommodation and sightseeing in Skopje.

DAY 2 SKOPJE - GOSTIVAR - MAVROVO LAKE - DEBAR LAKE - OHRID LAKE (220 km)

After breakfast you will take highway M4 to Gostivar followed by a day-long ride along the picturesque Mavrovo and Debar Lake in Macedonia. The final destination for the day is Ohrid lake. Accommodation in а hotel with outdoor swimming pool. Dinner and sightseeing of Ohrid

DAY 3 OHRID LAKE - ELBASAN - TIRANA (140 km)

After breakfast, the day will start with a ride along Ohrid Lake. Crossing the border with Albania at Pogradec and continue to Elbasan. From there you will take the picturesque road to Tirana riding on top of mountain ridge. Accommodation and sightseeing of Tirana.

DAY 4 TIRANA - COBO WINERY - BERAT (120 km)

The day will start with a ride to Berat. On the way you will stop for a lunch and wine tasting at the famous Cobo winery in Albania. Arrival in late afternoon and visit to Berat Castle – 13th century fortress with stunning view of the town of Berat. Accommodation and sightseeing of Berat.

DAY 5 BERAT - FIER - VLORE - SARANDE (270 km)

After breakfast, you will ride on small country roads in the heart of Albania going to Fier and Vlore. After lunch you take the famous Vlore – Saranda Mediterranean coastal road that will take your breath away. Accommodation, sunbathing and dinner in Saranda.

DAY 6 SARANDE - KSAMIL - IGUMENITSA - METEORA (250 km)

After breakfast, you will ride from Saranda to Ksamil through the Butrint National Park in Albania. You will cross a river on a floating platform where you will get a sense of stepping back in time. Crossing the border with Greece and stop for a coffee and lunch in Igumenitsa. In the afternoon you will ride on E95 to Ioannina and Metsovo followed by beautiful ride on windy mountain roads to Meteora, Greece.

DAY 7 METEORA - THESSALONIKI (230 km)

In the morning sightseeing of Meteora - one of the largest complexes of Greek Orthodox monasteries in Greece picturesquely spread on top of rocks. After lunch we will ride from Meteora to Thessaloniki, Greece. Accommodation and sightseeing.

DAY 8 THESSALONIKI - SERES - SOFIA (300 km)

After breakfast, you will hit the road to Seres. From there you will continue on curvy mountainous roads to Exochi and cross the border with Bulgaria. Break and lunch in Bansko resort. Ride back to Sofia via highway E79 or via Velingrad and Belmeken lake if time allows. Returning the bikes in our rental shop.
