All tour operators, hoteliers, transport services, have reduced their prices for this summer from 10 to 22%, said the manager of the Varna tourist chamber Gesho Lyubenov, informs “Focus” agency. Accommodation for one night in Sunny beach and Golden sands resorts in May-June will cost 10-12 euro in a 4-star hotel. The whole holiday per person will be from 90 to 120 euro, including the transfer, explained Lyubenov. He gave as an example Turkey, Greece, Cyprus and Spain, which are making everything possible to revive their tourism. The visa issuing period is getting shortened, it could become one day. This measure is already undertaken in Greece and Spain, said also the manager of the tourist chamber. According to Lyubenov the Russian tourist comes and shops. “In this way people who are not connected to tourism such as the traders for example will also have benefits”. Many of our partners support airplane charter flights to Bulgaria, it is very important to be able to sell until the last moment and this is also tightly connected to the issuing of the tourist visa in one day”. If the measures that we offer are adopted, more than 150 million euro will enter the country, added Gesho Lyubenov. To remind, that in the end of February Anelia Krushkova informed that there was 30% decrease in the number of Russian tourists, but they are expected to start booking for the summer season later.
