A prehistorical settlement was found near Bourgas city.
The settlement mound was found a month ago and during the excavations works the scientists have come upon very important finds.
There are registered parts of four housing buildings with rich and various archaeological inventory - pottery, tools of bone and horn, ceramic idol plastics and others.
There was found the oldest to the moment and for the region metal tool, placed in bone handle.
The immediate proximity of Atanasius Lake, the Black sea and some additional finds in the cultural lays of the mound bring to the conclusion the settlement is most probably connected with early production of salt.
There are presented materials from the late neolith, early and late stone- copper age.
