The Chair of the association of transporters Miroslav Stolarski stated that he will file a claim against Greece in the EU because of the damages inflicted by the border blockade, BNR announced.
Transporters have calculated that the losses amount to 10 million Euro. 500 Euro per day are the losses of an ordinary truck, for a bus they can be as much as 600 Euro.
Meanwhile, it was clear that the National association of autobus transporters had a preliminary information on the blockade of the Greek border. Because of this, measures had been taken, so that there are no affected passengers by the protests, Ivaylo Konstantinov, manager of one of the big firms in the industry, specified.
The association of autobus transporters will insist that the government cooperates for the opening of at least one of the border stations, which is to operate in certain hours.
Today, the border with Greece remains closed because of the farmers' protests. At the moment, only the Kapitan Petko Voivoda point is not blocked with automobiles.
