KRICHIM - Bulgaria » The town of Krichim is situated at the foot of the northern part of the Rhodope mountains, on the banks of the Vacha river, 30 km southwest of Plovdiv. Around the town tourists can visit the ramains of medieval fortresses among which are the Big fortress - Golyamoto Kale and the Small fortress - Malkoto Kale. Other sights of interest are St Cosmas Church, St Damian Church and the mosque.
