DRYANOVO - Bulgaria » The town of Dryanovo is situated on the banks of Dryanovska river in the north part of the Fore-Balkan Range. It is 20 km northeast of Gabrovo, 17 km north of Tryavna, 30 km east of Sevlievo, 24 km southwest of Veliko Tarnovo and 241 km northeast of Sofia. Dryanovo is called The Town of the Centenarians because of the high average expectancy of life of the local people. The town attracts many tourists. Visitors can see Kolyo Ficheto museum, Lavchiev's House, the Holy Trinity Church, St Nikola Church, the art gallery, and the Clock Tower. Bacho Kiro cave and Dryanovski Monastery are close to the town.
