BUKATA » The village of Bukata is situated in the heart of the Rhodope mountains, 30 km south of Smolyan and 10 km from the border with Greece. The scenic village offers lovely views to the mountain, local hospitality and good opportunities for eco tourism. One kilometre away is the village of Mogilitsa and the Agushev konak - fortified minor houses of rich merchants built in old times. Close to the village is Uhlovitsa cave with unique rock formations.
