My brother and I booked 2 BMW-bikes for a trip in Portugal. The Motoroads team answered all my question before we started from home. At the airport we met a assistant (thanks to Mario), took our bikes and started the trip. Bikes have been in best conditions. Uskudar is a large and densely populated municipality of Istanbul, on the Asian shore of the Bosphorus. It is bordered by the Bosphorus to the west with areas of Beşiktaş, Beyoğlu, and Eminönü on the opposite shore, by Beykoz to the north, Ümraniye to the east, by Ataşehir to the southeast, and Kadıköy to the south. The district of Üsküdar is Istanbul′s oldest-established residential suburb and today has a more relaxed atmosphere than the crowded European side of the megapolis. Yet, Uskudar is directly opposite of the old city of Eminönü and transport across the Bosphorus is easy by boat or bridge. The area behind the ferry dock is a busy shopping district, with many restaurants, serving Ottoman cuisine, olive oil-based dishes, and ice cream, and a number of important Ottoman mosques. Uskudar is 37 km from Ataturk international airport. The transfer from the airport by a private taxi takes a little more than one hour along Ataturk boulevard, motorways E80, O-3, O-1, Gümüşyolu street, continuing onto Kuzguncukdere Sk and Icadiye street. Sabiha Gokcen airport is 38 km southeast of Uskudar or approximately one hour along Ankara street and E80, continuing along O1-O2 Çamlıca Bağlantısı and Istanbul Çevre Yolu/O-1, and onto Kısıklı and Çifteçınar steets to Uskudar.
