Paragliding is the simplest form of flying and a natural way to get high :-)
Developed from ram air parachutes by some smart guys, the paraglider is a foot-launched inflatable wing which allows good pilots to fly more than 400 kilometers and climb up to more than 6000 meters.

6-Day Beginner's Paragliding course

You will begin with ground training including launching, controlling and landing a paraglider and then you will experience your first flights from a small hill. The basic theory about aerodynamics and meteorology will give you a good understanding about how a paraglider flies and on completion of the course you will be enjoying many flights from the top of the mountain.

6-Day Intermediate Paragliding course

Under radio supervision and covered by solid theory you will practice top landings, ridge soaring and basic thermalling techniques from various locations: small hills, high mountains and soaring sites. This will improve your skills and judgment and provide you with the necessary experience for further independent and safe flying.

Rules of the air:

• Remember that gravity is not just a good idea, it's the LAW. AND, it's not subject to repeal!
• Every takeoff is optional. Every landing is mandatory!
• It's always better to be down here wishing you were up there than to be up there wishing you were down here!
• You start with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience before you empty the bag of luck!
• Good judgment comes from experience. Unfortunately, the experience usually comes from bad judgment!
• Learn from the mistakes of others. You won't live long enough to make all of them yourself!
• The air does not know you are an expert. Turbulence is Nature's way of reminding us we are not birds!
• You're not a real pilot until you have to hitchhike back to the LZ!
• The site working really great today is always at least 100 kilometers away. You should have been here yesterday!
• Work is permanent, good flying weather is transitory. Work is for people who don't fly paragliders!

• Intermediate course (6-day): € 440 (inclusive of bed&breakfast, transfers)
• Cross-country training: € 440 (6-day, bed&breakfast, XC transport, transfers)
• Cross-country guiding: € 380 (6-day, bed&breakfast, XC transport, transfers)
• Tandem Panorama flight: € 49
• Tandem Cross-country flight: € 79
• Non-fliers: € 15 a day
• Tandem Acro flight: € 79
• Repacking a reserve parachute: € 15
• Equipment rental (paraglider, helmet, harness, reserve): € 28 a day

In case of unflyable weather, the day can be spend on a sight-seeing tour or a paragliding theoretical lessons: €25 a day

All the prices above include: transfer from/to the airport; transportation to/from the flying sites and retrieve from XC; accommodation (bed&breakfast); equipment rental (paraglider, harness and reserve, helmet and radio) for Introductory day and Beginner's course!

For the newcomers it comes as a pleasant surprise to find such a variety of landscapes in a country as small as Bulgaria:
The high mountains make you feel like you're in the Alps, while flying in North Bulgaria is not much different to the Australian flatlands, and coastal soaring over golden, sandy beaches is as charming as in coastal resorts in Spain.

Why should you go elsewhere when you can enjoy all this within just a few hours driving?

Except Tandem Panorama Flight or coastal Tandem Soaring Flight we also offer Tandem XC Flight. It consists of 30, 50 and more kilometers mountain cross-country flying and lasts several hours. Our experienced tandem pilot will guide you to so many and such nice aerial views that your photo or video camera won't stop recording the mountains, the fields, the clouds, the birds, the sky......
