Review by: Tracey and Jeff, Scotland Review posted: Jul, 20, 2004   We flew to Bulgaria from Glasgow with Sunset (one of the groups under Thomas Cook)The flight was fine they were really great about getting me my nut free meal due to my allergy...although there was little leg room and im only 5ft 8 so if your much taller you'd find it a pain. The hotel was real nice, we got originally 3rd floor but because of some noisey swedish people we asked to be moved and got the 11th floor(i didnt fancy the lift always but the view made up for it)The room was nice, the sattelite tv was crap..i didnt know one english channel could be called sattelite tv!!! I had no complaints with the hotel rooms or the staff. Word of warning DONT eat the breakfast... unless you want to be ill. No wonder the hotel has their own doctor (dont visit them if you are ill, she said she thought my boyfriend and i had food poisoning and wanted to give us needles and 12 different antibiotics and charge us £120 for it each!!!) We got better after some stuff from the chemist and no breakfast. It was a bit hard getting a lounger at the pool but we got to know the boss and the internet guy at the hotel Avliga next door and the boss let us swim there :D and getting a louger there is easy! The resort is cheep, is you liek cheep local ciggarettes, alcohol and mountains of fake designer goods you'll love it. there isnt a lot to do after looking in the shops, at night there is some nice pubs up on the main road...near the market (and if you go up that way look out for a place called Djannys it is very nice and cheep 6 of us there ate for less than £20) A good club to go to is Lazur, with a pool you can go in if you are feeling that drunk and lasers its pretty fun but it is a bit out of the way!
