We booked via internet for 4 rooms (8 adults + 1 infant) and i double checked it by phone but when we arrived there they said that they have our reservation but they DO NOT HAVE ANY EMPTY ROOMS and WE HAVE TO GO TO EUROPA HOTEL. Europa is at the end of the resort and we had to walk for 1Km to go to the center of the area or get the small train of the area (and pay).

Well just returned from a bit of a mixed up holiday. We flew with Thompson but booked the Glarus separately (BIG MISTAKE) we arrived on the Tuesday night very very late (01:00 BGT) and got told there was no room for us at the Glatus so we would have to go to another hotel that the Glarus works with the Europa. We asked how we would get there and they said they would book a taxi... it was only through asking the none english speaking staff and a range of silly sign language that we managed to get the taxi and ensure we did not pay for it. The Europa was good, although in the morning when we came to leave they were not helpful one bit, we were supposed to have a taxi booked for 12.00 but it was 13.00 when we decided to make our own arrangements. The Glarus it self has a nice pool and bar. Breakfast was aimed at Germans/Scandinavians. The Rooms were ok and basic, our shower leaked and be careful when turning on full as can come out really really powerfully. The bathroom was the only negative part of the room besides the fact they were a little small. From seeing some other hotels id recommend the Victoria it looks lovely, or the Europa (our 1st night) very clean but make sure you have a translator...

we have just returned from hotel Glarus on the 28th august 2006.We couldn't fault the room, we were right on the front with a fantastic view. The rooms were clean and tidy (no air conditioning though, had to hire a fan. The pool was nice, always managed to get a lounger. Plenty going on around. We are not fussy eaters but the food (especially the evening meal) was awful. Very little choice and what there was was usually cold even if you went down first. We had things like fish fingers, sausages, roast potatoes, and different kind of stew each night. We would go back to Sunny beach again but not to the Glarus. The Chaika beach and the Victoria looked fantastic.

Hi we went to Sunny Beach last year nice place i think all the hotels are very much the same, but as they are not in the EU yet give them time, we looked at a lot of hotel while there and Victoria palace looked very nice we are staying there this year. There is lots to do things to see and paces to go good night life everywhere and most people are friendly. It is nice and cheap so money can go a long way. As for all the comments people have put on here about bad things and places you get that where ever you go some good some bad so make your own mind up your holiday is what you make it so have fun.

we only booked the week before i was a bit worried, but when we arrived at the hotel altho it was in the early hours of the morning, porters were there to carry our luggage. After checking in and seen the room on the second floor we were happy. In the morning looking out on the balcony the beach was there in front of us, couldnt believe it great. we were happy with the room very clean got cleaned every day if not in the morming the afternoon. we were there 2 weeks and sheets changed regular towels every 2 days.
