Diane McLean (September 2003) Hotel name: Crown Plaza *** Hotel location: Golden sands resort, Bulgaria Comment: The Crown Plaza is a very clean Hotel.The staff are very friendly.The pool was really nice and we liked how it also had an indoor pool if you wanted to keep out of the sun.The rooms were very spacious but the bed's were so uncomfortable.The beech is lovely and the water was very warm.I found eating out a problem as they don't seem to serve the food very warm. We found The Irish Bar a good place to eat the steak was gorgeous.Very friendly staff especially Ellian who stands out side with his big Guinees hat on he is such a funny charachter.I think 2 weeks was a bit long a week would have been perfect.Would I go back? Not to Golden Sands,maybe a diffrent part of Bulgaria.The prices are good for fake items such as football tops,bag's,watches.If you go have a lovely time. ------------------ |
