'Round 400, 000 - 500, 000 British tourists yearly spend their holidays in Bulgaria as the biggest part of them visit the Black Sea coast' - the UK ambassador for Bulgaria Steve Williams declared during his visit in Bourgas city.
According to Steve Williams through this year the situation would be harder because the registered drop in British economics.
‘It is important for me to establish personal contacts with the seaside Bourgas region, because Bulgaria is outer border of the European Union' ambassador Williams said on the meting.
He showed interest in building of the oil pipeline ‘Bourgas - Alexandroupolis' and how the realization process goes.
‘The EU countries insist on the energy security most about the natural gas, no so about the oil' the diplomat explained.
‘I think you are clear about the discussions over the gas pipeline ‘Nabucco' project and the important role of Bulgaria and the key position of Bourgas area in particular about the realization of this project.' Steve Williams added.
