FCC, the company which will construct Danube bridge 2 opened its information center in the regional administration building in Vidin, Bulgaria.
“The ribbon was cut” by the regional governor eng. Krustio Spassov in the presence of Neli Yordanova, chief of the directorate “Coordination of regional programs and projects” at the Ministry of transport and Ricardo Bueno, head of the FCC project.
The Spaniards should construct the bridge for 105 216 787 euro. According to the schedule, the construction works should on Danube Bridge 2 should be concluded by 2010.
FCC has made claims in which it explains its reasons for extension of the term for implementation and for additional payments but without specifying any values, the Bulgarian ministry of transport informed last week.
The reasons for all claims are investigated by the chief engineer on the spot and so far he has approved only the updated version of the working program, add experts from the transport ministry.
