Sofia Airport marks an original record with 333 230 passengers serviced in August, the press center of the airport announced.
Compared to the same period last year, when 272 764 passengers were transported, the increase is 22 percent.
The increase of serviced passengers and aircraft routes in foreign tourist charters is 40%.
A favorite destination is Sofia-London (with Heathrow, Gatwick and Luton). 45 000 passengers flew to the British capital.
The most loaded day on the Sofia airport was August 31 with 12 733 passengers.
