Markov house is the first house on the right after the signboard marking the beginning of the village of Kovachevitsa. It was built by Marko Dimitrov, a distinguished forester, patriot and public figure in the town of Gotse Delchev, and his wife Atlazka Dimitrova. The house compromises of wood and stone materials typical for the region and it is covered by stone tiles instead of the ordinary roof tiles. Markov house has a well-kept garden and a backyard planted by Marko Dimitrov with over 43 rare tree and bush species like Veimutov pine, silver spruce, cypresses, etc. The house offers 3 DBL rooms with 3 bathrooms and 2 large balconies overlooking the village and the mountain.
