HIKING IN RHODOPE MOUNTAINS

What is typical for the Rhodope mountains is that they are the most populated mountains in Bulgaria which together with the mild climate and the numerous mineral springs, provides essential advantages for hiking vacations.

Itinerary: Suggested itinerary below can be adjusted - shortened, extended or modified according to your plans, skills or flight date. If you feel tired on your hiking tour, a day or two of your schedule can be replaced on site with visits to places of interest, cultural and historical sites.

Day1: Transfer to the Village of Trigrad

Day2: Devil's Throat cave - Village of Yagodina - Yagodina cave - Yagodina gorge - Trigrad gorge - Village of Trigrad

Day3: Village of Trigrad - Trigrad gorge - Chairy meadows - Village of Trigrad

Day4: Village of Trigrad - Village of Vodni Pad - Village of Trigrad

Day5: Visit places of interest. Transfer: Village of Trigrad - Sofia Airport

Tour dates:  5 days/4 nights scheduled at your convenience from May to October
 

Tour quota: Minimum 2 hikers

Hiking duration: 5 - 7 hours per day

Accommodations: Authentic Rhodope houses in the village of Trigrad

Food arrangements: All breakfasts are included in the tour package. Lunch and dinner can be arranged upon request. All meals include traditional Bulgarian food, which is not much different from the European cuisine. All lunch meals if ordered are "to go".

Prices: Two adults: 695 EURO total package price
           (share double room)

           Family of 2 adults + 2 children under 10 years old: 795 EURO total package price
           (share large 2 bedroom with 2 extra beds or three bedroom)

           Family/Group of 3 adults: 795 EURO total package price)
           (share three bedroom

           Group 4-8 adults: 350 EURO per person.
           (share double room) 

Discount specials: Participants taking part in two hiking tours (Example: Pirin and Rila mountains) in one calendar year are eligible for 10% discount on the tour price.

Outdoor activities: On this tour you can enjoy extra activities - horseback riding, caving and climbing in the region of the Trigrad gorge. Ask us for details and arrangements.
