Dobrich is a town in the eastern part of Dobrudzha Plateau, Danube plain. Dobrich is only 36 km from Kardam cross-border checkpoint between Bulgaria and Romania and 45 km from Varna - the sea capital of Bulgaria. The region of Dobrudzha is the largest grain producer in Bulgaria. The most important landmarks in Dobrich are the remains of old Roman settlements from 3-4 century, the museum of History and Archeology and the monument of Khan Asparouh. In the surrounding area there is the Dubovete park (Oak park) Kobaklaka - a great place for relaxation. To get to Dobrich from Varna take highway E70 going west to Sofia and exit on road 29 going north to Dobrich.
