
Constanta is one of the largest ports on the Black Sea coast, 260 km east of Bucharest airport and 160 km north of Varna airport. Constanta and Bucharest are connected by a major highway. The city has ancient history dating back to 6th century. Constanta is also a transfer departure point for the Romanian Black sea resorts in the vicinity: Olimp, Neptun, Jupiter, Venus, Mangalia. Costanta international airport is 19km to the north from the city center and serves flights to Europe's major travel destinations.
